Q. Are all pressure washing companies the same?

A. Anyone can buy a commercial pressure washer.  Just owning one does not mean that you know how to operate it properly.  In the hands of an unskilled operator it can cause extensive damage.  At G Squared Landscaping, we are trained and practiced in the proper use of our equipment.  We use all the safest methods and treatments to ensure that nothing is damaged.      (back)

Q. Do I need to be home while my property is being cleaned?

A. No, we know that you are busy people.  All that we ask is that you close all windows, move any furniture away from the property, and move the vehicles out of the driveway.   (back)

Q. Does G2 Landscaping Services have insurance?

A. G2 Landscaping Services is an LLC and carries a 1 million dollar general liability policy.  We can provide documentation of this upon request.  (back)

Q. Why is liability insurance important?

A. Many contractors may claim that they have insurance; however, they might not be able to provide documentation when asked.  If any damage is caused by a contractor, or if they become injured on your property, you could be held responsible if they do not carry the proper insurance.  Always ask for proof of insurance. That one question could save you thousands of dollars and headaches in the future. (back)

Q. Is an outdoor water source needed?

A. Yes, we do need to have access to a water source.  (back)

Q. Is there a difference between pressure washing and power washing?

A. They are exactly the same thing, it is just different terminology. (back)

Q. My deck and siding are supposed to be zero maintenance, do I still need them pressure washed?

A. Low maintenance yes, zero maintenance no. Anything left outside in the sun and humidity will get dirty. Your car gets dirty sitting in your driveway, so does your house and deck. (back)

Q. What are the benefits of pressure washing?

A.  Pressure washing eliminates mold, mildew and cleans any dirt off of your house.  It will provide better curb appeal and increase your property values.  With the humidity in this area, it is a good idea to get your house pressure washed twice a year.  (back)

Q. What are the dark spots on my siding?

A. This is mold and mildew.  It grows in high humidity areas and can be removed with low pressure and the right chemicals.  (back)

Q. What are the black streaks on my gutter?

A. The black streaks are normally a combination of oxidation from the paint and mold and mildew.  These can be removed with low pressure and the right chemicals. (back)

Q. What is this white powdery stuff on my masonry and can it be removed?

A. The white powdery stuff is called Efflorescence. It is caused when water seeps through and dissolves salts inside then evaporates leaving the salt on the surface. It can be removed with the right pressure and chemicals. (back)

Q. What causes wood to turn grey?

A. Wood turns gray because it is being exposed to water and the sun. In order to prevent your wood from turning graying, we recommend that you get you deck and fence stained and sealed every 2 years. (back)

Q. Will your pressure washing cause any damage to my property?

A. ABSOLUTELY-NOT! We guarantee that we use the proper chemicals and the right amount of pressure to clean your property completely, while preventing any damage. (back)

Q. Is there any chance that pressurized water will be forced under my siding?

A. ABSOLUTELY-NOT! We use a soft wash technique on all houses.  This uses low pressure and well thought out and researched techniques and solutions to clean your house without damaging it.  You will find that our technique cleans your house more thoroughly than many other companies who use higher pressure and risk damage to your house. (back)

Q. Will the chemicals you use damage my plants?

A. G2 Landscaping Services, LLC has spent a considerable amount of time researching and exploring the chemicals we use. We only use safe, biodegradable and effective cleaners that will not harm your landscape. (back)

Q. Will there be streaks on my windows after you clean my house?

A. No because, we also use a self neutralizing soap that leaves no streaks or film on your windows. (back)

Q. Will you send us a reminder notice when your service needs to be done again?

A. Yes, many of our regular customers are on our reminder list. We recommend keeping your property and deck clean and up to date.  Once you determine the schedule that you prefer, we can send out reminders that it is time for us to come back out. (back)
